MEGA MEGA REMIX

No Comments Music

New tings, new tings! After the success of The Count & Sinden‘s previous release MEGA MEGA MEGA, a 12 track album which bent the rules and cracked the concrete of house and up and coming bass music, the boys are proud to announce the arrival of ‘Mega Mega Remix‘.

The original release delivered an eclectic mix of house, ragga, techno, baile funk, electro and hip-hop to produce something utterly unique, brutally British and intensely spur of the moment. Honing the skills of Katy B, Mystery Jets, Rye Rye and Bashy, Mega Mega Remix reels in the likes of Canblaster, Lone, XXXy, Krystal Klear, D1 and Hot City to refresh and rerub the albums already riotous mish-mash of global beats, bass, rave stabs and massive pop hooks for dancefloors worldwide. Hand picked remixers provide a wealth of 4/4 house music, dubstep, old school rave and moombahton, reflecting The Count & Sinden’s appetite for fresh sounds, genres and producers.

Rating 4/5 on all accounts, the album will be released July 29th, after a forthcoming EP entitled ‘Future’ on July 22nd. Hit the Soundcloud for an exclusive MegaMix of the album from Sinden. Anyone on a producer tip can enter the Cheap Thrills Remix Competition. Get the stems here, and submit the bizniz here.

Speeding

This one’s on a promo tip. Eis and Nose peeled. London based Breakbeat collective ‘Rudimental‘ are set to drop their first EP ‘Speeding’ on the 30th of this month, and amongst the original, a distorted, LFO heavy melody is a guns blazing array of remix artists to pop the cherry from the top. Dodge & Fuski, Berts On Beats, and Benton have come together to help deliver an all round winning package to suit all tastes. The original hones a sexy, loved up dubstep appeal, with a catchy vocal hook. Remix wise Dodge & Fuski pump out a smash-club Drum & Bass/Dubstep remurx, Bert, an incredible steppy, tropical tech based riddim, and Benton, a spacious and beautiful rolling Drum & Bass number. Perfec’. Clip on soundcloud and Brucey Bonus below. Hold tight.
